Stephanie began dancing at the age of two at the Lillian McNeill School of Dance in Glasgow until winning a scholarship to train at the Scottish Ballet where she studied for five years. At seventeen Stephanie successfully auditioned for the National Youth Dance Company which was held at the Rambert Dance Studio in London and subsequently toured throughout the U.K. Further to this Stephanie then went on to train at the prestigious London Studio Centre before returning to Scotland to set up her own school over twenty years ago and is mum to Lewis and Emily
Michelle McCormack
A.R.A.D, A.I.S.T.D, (modern theatre) A.B.A.T.D
Michelle began dancing with Stephanie when she was 6 years old. She then went on to train full time at Dance for All Theatre School in Edinburgh. During her studies she performed in various theatres across Edinburgh. Following her graduation with an HND in Dance Michelle then started teaching with Stephanie. As well as teaching with @Dance Scotland, Michelle has also danced in some of Scotland’s premier hotels including the Balmoral and Gleneagles hotels in various corporate events. and is mum to Ellie and Josh
Jennifer Lyall
A.I.S.T.D Classical Ballet and Modern
Jennifer started dancing at @DANCE when she was 8 years old and remained with us until she left school. After which she successfully auditioned for the theatre school in Edinburgh. Jennifer has successfully attained ISTD Ballet and Modern Theatre teaching qualifications. Jennifer is also practices law and is Mum to Vaila and Callan

Olivia O'Brien
Olivia is a passionate and dedicated dance teacher and choreographer with extensive experience teaching children and young people aged 4–18. She is committed to creating a positive, supportive and encouraging environment where students can build confidence and develop strong technique. Alongside teaching, Olivia has experience as a competition choreographer, workshop tutor and lecturer, with her students achieving success at national and international competitions, including Gold medals at the Dance World Cup and Global Dance Open. She holds a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance for Commercial Performance, alongside SDTA & BATD teaching qualifications in Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Scottish Highland.
Code of conduct
It is very important to the school that children and staff work in an environment that builds confidence. We work hard to help the children achieve a high standard of technique and fitness. We endeavour to choreograph performances that the dancers can be proud of. This can be challenging but, we believe the bigger the challenge, the more rewarding the sense of achievement. We hope the children try their best and enjoy coming to dancing, gaining self confidence through their achievement.
Our goal is to create a supportive and fun environment to learn and enjoy dance.
